This is THE camp to improve your swimming in a fun and relaxed environment. With four Effortless Swimming coaches and a small group of other swimmers, you'll be treated to daily filming and analysis of your stroke with hands-on coaching and correction to transform the way you swim. There'll also be regular open water swims at sunset or sunrise (conditions dependant) and you'll build-up to the 'Swim Noosa' race (May Camp) or 'Mooloolaba Mile' race (March camp) which will be on the final day of camp. Pick your distance of 1km, 2km or 3.8km (Noosa Swim) or 800m, 1.6km or 3.0 (Mooloolaba Swim). You'll be less than 30 seconds from the beach as you stay on the famous Hasting Street, close to the amazing restaurants, shops and cafe's.
A 6-day / 5-night swim camp for adult open water swimmers and triathletes
Noosa Heads, QLD Australia. You'll be staying at Hotel Laguna on Hastings St (right near the beach) and swimming in the ocean and at the Noosa Aquatic Centre.

Group welcome where you'll meet all of your fellow swimmers and coaches. Head to the pool for a light swim and underwater filming session. Return to the hotel for a detailed video analysis of your stroke to uncover where the improvements will be made over the coming days. Head out for dinner on Hastings St as you enjoy the incredible Noosa sunset.
A short yoga session on the beach to start the day followed by a 1.5km swim to Little Cove and back. Coffee and breakfast on Hastings St, followed by a technique and drills session at the pool to begin making changes to your stroke. After lunch, you'll have the opportunity to practice these changes in your technique during a swim session.
A short yoga session on the beach to start the day, then an open water skills session to develop your sighting, drafting and pack swimming skills. After lunch, you'll enjoy a small group coaching session working directly with one of the coaches on your stroke along with filming for immediate feedback.
Pool session to work on pacing and speed development which will allow you to switch gears and change your effort during a race. Another session working directly with a coach on your stroke with filming and analysis. A light swim from the National park back to main beach as the sun is setting.
Pool session to find the optimum balance between stroke length and stroke rate. Make some final touch-ups to your stroke with the final filming and technique session with one of the coaches. Experience sunset drinks on the beach with the group before the big race the next day.
Compete in the 'Swim Noosa' raced organised by Ironman (May Camp) or Mooloobaba Swim (March Camp). After the race we'll go out for lunch and drinks as a group to celebrate an amazing camp!

Bookings can be made directly through the link above. If booking a twin share room with another swimmer, BOTH swimmers must book a spot separately. If you are attending with a non-swimming partner or spouse, please book a ‘single’ room option (either apartment or studio).
Bookings are refundable up until January 1st, 2020 less a $250 administration fee. After January 1st, 2020 bookings are transferable to another person but are not refundable.
You’ll be doing 2-3 swims per day varying in length from 1km to 3km. The focus of the week is on improving your swimming with lots of feedback, coaching and filming.
The minimum level of swimming required to attend this camp is to comfortably swim 1km in 25 mins or faster. We have a high coach-to-swimmer ratio so we’re able to cater for all levels of swimmers provided you meet the minimum requirement above. This camp is for swimmers and triathletes who would are looking to improve their speed, technique and are keen to have an amazing 6 days of swimming in Noosa!
Yes! Most days there is time between sessions and meals to relax at the beach, go shopping or simply relax. You’ll also have time to run or ride if you are looking to do some more training while you are there. We often hear campers talk about how much they enjoy the combination of swimming and time to relax.
We start at 2.30pm on the first day so depending on where you are flying from it can be easier to arrive the day before. The closest airport is Maroochydore (Sunshine Coast Airport) and is 25 mins from Noosa. Brisbane Airport is the closest International airport and is a 2-hour drive from Noosa. Check-in is from 2pm so you’ll be able to di this prior to starting. The camp finishes after the Noosa Swim and we have arranged a late checkout of 12pm so you can race and then come back and shower before going out to lunch with the group before you say your goodbye’s. To book an extra night you just need to contact Hotel Laguna directly at [email protected] and let them know you are with the Effortless Swimming group. Rates are $290/night for 1-bdrm and $210/night for studio rooms.
Because many of the swims will be directly out front of the hotel and at the beach there is no ‘camp-only’ option for this camp as we require everyone to be in the one place for logistics.
There will be a minimum of four Effortless Swimming coaches at the Noosa camp. Brenton Ford (Head Coach at Effortless Swimming) will be at the camp alongside three other experienced Effortless Swimming coaches.
This is a small group camp with a maximum of 16 swimmers with at least one coach to every four swimmers. You will get a lot of underwater filming and analysis, personal feedback and coaching from all coaches on camp. This camp is about YOU improving your swimming in paradise.
