1:45 to 1:33/100m In A Year | Olympic Distance Triathlete

Here I analyze the technique of a UK based triathlete competing in Olympic distance triathlon. He’s brought his threshold pace down from 1:401:45/100m to 1:33 in the last year.

There are two things I’d focus on most if I were him:

1. Breathing: Exhale form the nose and get the head returning back into the water quicker.

2. Rotation: Reduce the upper body rotation to maintain better balance and improve his catch (and stroke rate!)

Brenton and Mitch were great to work with at the clinic, Good to get video analysis to work on straight away, practice some new drills and go home knowing what you need to work on.
