- Day By Day
Your 6-Day Journey
Every day is designed to build your confidence, technique, and love of swimming.
- Day 01
Arrival, Welcome & Stroke Analysis
Arrive at Playitas Resort, settle into your accommodation, and get ready for an incredible week of swimming. We'll meet in the afternoon for a welcome briefing where you'll meet your coaches and fellow campers and get an overview of the week ahead. From there, we'll head to the pool for a light swim session and underwater filming. Following the swim, we'll review your footage and analyse your stroke to identify the key areas that will make the biggest difference to your swimming throughout the week, giving you a clear roadmap for improvement from day one.
- Day 02
Technique, 1-on-1 Stroke Correction & Open Water Skills
Today is all about building the foundations for faster and more efficient swimming. We'll start the day with strength and mobility exercises before heading to the pool, where we'll take you through the 5 Core Principles of Fast Freestyle. You'll learn the key areas that help swimmers move through the water more effortlessly. We'll then have our first one-on-one coaching session where we'll target the focus areas identified in your analysis and work on the technical changes needed to improve your stroke. In the afternoon, we'll prepare for our upcoming open water swims with an open water skills session in the pool. From sighting and drafting to pack swimming and buoy turns, you'll develop the skills and confidence needed to handle open water conditions and race-day situations.
- Day 03
Open Water Swim, Coastal Adventure & Faster Freestyle
Today we'll take those open water skills into action with our first open water swim at Las Playitas Beach. You'll put your sighting, drafting and pack swimming into practice while experiencing the beautiful waters around Las Playitas. Following the swim, we'll head out on a guided kayak and snorkelling adventure as we explore the coastline and discover the incredible marine life that Fuerteventura has to offer. Back at the pool in the afternoon, we'll continue refining your stroke and building on the improvements made earlier in the week as we help you become a smoother, more efficient swimmer.
- Day 04
Point-to-Point Open Water Swim & Last Person Standing Challenge
Today features one of the highlights of the week as we complete a supported point-to-point swim from Las Playitas to Gran Tarajal, following the same route used during the area's annual open water race. This is your chance to put everything you've learned so far into practice while enjoying one of the most memorable swims on the island. Following the swim, we'll continue with our second round of one-on-one coaching sessions, giving you the opportunity to fine-tune your technique and build on the improvements you've made throughout the week. In the afternoon, it's time for the Last Person Standing Challenge. Endurance, consistency, pacing, and mental toughness will all come into play as swimmers battle it out to see who can stay in the game the longest.
- Day 05
The Grand Finale: Analysis, Relays & Fiesta
We'll start the day with strength and mobility exercises before heading to the pool for our final filming session and one last challenge designed to test your stamina, focus, and ability to put everything you've learned throughout the week into practice. Following the session, we'll complete your final analysis and compare your stroke to Day 1, giving you a clear understanding of the improvements you've made and the key focus areas to continue working on once you're back home. In the afternoon, it's time for the relays. Team up with your fellow campers and compete for bragging rights before we finish the week with a sunset cruise and fiesta dinner as we celebrate an incredible week together.
- Day 06
Farewell
Our final morning has no planned activities, some swimmer will go for a dip in the ocean or roll the arms over in the pool โ no pressure, just enjoying the water one last time. You are free to depart at any time.
